EMS Provider CE Training


Upon entering the field, it is the responsibility of the EMS provider to continue their life-long learning.  EMS providers must engage in continuing professional development, using a variety of modalities to continuously assess and improve their knowledge, skills and attitudes with the goal of improving patient care outcomes.

EMT Refresher:
$150.00  ($25/module)

This 24 hour course is delivered in a modular, in-seat format following the requirements of the WVOEMS and the NREMT's NCCP standards for recertification.

Paramedic Refresher:
$200.00  ($25/module)

This 32 hour course is delivered in a modular, in-seat format following the requirements of the WVOEMS and the NREMT's NCCP standards for recertification.

CCT Refresher:
$125.00  ($25/module)

This 20 hour course is delivered in a modular, in-seat format following the requirements of the WVOEMS standards for recertification.

Emergency Medical Dispatcher:   $300.00

Certification as a Public Safety Telecommunicator is a pre-requisite to this program.
Emergency Medical Dispatch is a systematic program of handling medical calls. Trained telecommunicators, using locally approved EMD Guidecards, quickly and properly determine the nature and priority of the call, dispatch the appropriate response, then give the caller instructions to help treat the patient until the responding EMS unit arrives.
