Community Interest - Health & Safety

One of the most difficult decisions to make is whether or not to get involved when you think a medical emergency has occurred.  HOWEVER, you are the first link in the chain of emergency care.  By taking the time to receive training, you will become more confident in your ability to respond appropriately and safely in the event of an unexpected emergency.

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment.  With ASHI Wilderness First Aid training, first aid providers in a wilderness setting will be better prepared to respond when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.

This comprehensive 20-hour course meets AND exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, 2017 Edition.
