Serving Mercer County Since 1961
Princeton Rescue Squad has been a vital part of our community for over 56 years serving all of Mercer County and the surrounding areas. In 1961, our first year of operation, we answered 61 calls with a staff of 19 volunteers. In 2015, with a fully paid staff of 70 plus men and women, highly trained and well educated in Emergency Medicine, we responded to 16,526 emergency, non-emergency, and wheelchair calls in Princeton and the surrounding area we serve.
Our Purpose
To provide a Community, Conference, and Education facility.
The emergency services industry is one that relies very heavily on training, certifications, and continuing education. Our staff is constantly being educated in areas that are vital for them to perform their job and save lives.
This new facility houses a modern education center and a community gathering place, which will double as an emergency shelter in times of need. This facility will not only be for the use of Princeton Rescue Squad, but for the community.
Additionally, the facility is an Authorized Pearson VUE testing center so individuals from numerous professions can complete certification testing without the need to travel to other cities. Finally, this facility has been designed to give our community the capability to host conferences locally instead of booking activities outside of the area affording many opportunities professionally as well as personally.

A Word From Our CEO
"Hello, and welcome to the Princeton Rescue Squad: Education Department website! We were very proud to introduce a modern education center in December of 2020 that serves a vital role in the continued growth of Emergency Medical Services for our community."
"In addition, we are very excited to provide an Emergency Shelter that will have the capability of housing up to 200 people in the event of a disaster. During times when the building is not used for this purpose, it will serve for the betterment of our society as a community center for local civic organizations, little leagues, churches, and other groups." "It is an exciting time at Princeton Rescue Squad!" |
