EMS Professional Development Courses


While these courses are not necessarily required as part of the recertification process, they allow field providers an opportunity to improve skills in Pre-Hospital Medicine that may or may not be commonly utilized.

ALS Assist:

ALS Assist Cost:  $20.00
This course is designed to assist BLS level providers in enhance their engagement with ALS practitioners for the improvement ofpatient outcomes through a solid foundational knowledge of ALS level equipment and skills in order to assist the practitioner in directpatient care activities.

Extrication for EMS

Extrication for EMS Cost: $280.00
Technical rescuers need to know how to safely and effectively operate at small and large vehicle and machinery extrication incidents.  This course provides participants with the critical knowledge and skills necessary to perform in these environments.

Mass Casualty Incident

Mass Casualty Incident Cost:  $25.00
The EMS professional has a responsibility to establish command under the Incident Command System in order to ensure patient, public, and personnel safety.
