Authorized Training
Center

Upon entering the field, it is the responsibility of the EMS provider to continue their life-long learning.  EMS providers must engage in continuing professional development, using a variety of modalities to continuously assess and improve their knowledge, skills and attitudes with the goal of improving patient care outcomes. 

EMT Refresher

This 24 hour course is delivered in a format following the requirements of the WVOEMS and the NREMT's NCCP standards for recertification. 

Paramedic Refresher

This 32 hour course is delivered in a format following the requirements of the WVOEMS and the NREMT's NCCP standards for recertification.

WVOEMS (Miscellaneous)

MCI Level 1 & 2
(Traditional course)

The EMS professional has a responsibility to establish command under the Incident Command System in order to ensure patient, public, and personnel safety. 

This course meets the WVOEMS requirements for recertification at all EMS levels.  Please contact our Training Center for enrollment options and pricing.

Calendar of Events

HazMat Awareness (Online course)

First responders are individuals who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release.  This course trains participants in assessing risk, recognizing a release, and identification of substances. 
This course meets the WVOEMS requirements for recertification at all EMS levels.  Please contact our Training Center for enrollment options and pricing.

Continuing Education - Professional Development Courses

These courses are offered to fulfill the WV Office of EMS required "Elective" CE hours.  Therefore, the professional development course topics will vary based on Needs Assessments, Quality Assurance Checks, and Mandatory Updates.  These courses include, but are not limited to:  Protocol In-services, Equipment updates, Medical Director topics, etc.
